Respect the environment
Respect the environment
Reducing the impact of our company on the environment is at the center of our concerns. The principle of minimalism in our designs aims to reduce as much as possible the quantity of raw materials required during manufacturing, while ensuring sufficient robustness. This balance makes it possible to reduce:
- the carbon footprint during transport (delivery of raw materials, delivery of the finished product),
- energy consumption during manufacturing and
- the environmental impact at the end of life .
Materials
Materials
The material we use (PLA – Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic which comes from corn cultivation and is biodegradable in industrial composting (at a temperature above 60°C).
The range PolyTerra from our supplier PolyMaker has been designed with respect for the environment. All associated packaging is entirely in recycled cardboard. Even better, a partnership with OneTreePlanted guaranteed that a tree is planted for each 1kg spool of filament purchased.
Advice
Advice
The material from which this object is made is robust and designed to last, under normal conditions of use. However, certain situations should be avoided:
- Not suitable for outdoor use: after several months, UV rays can deteriorate the material.
- Does not tolerate heat: prolonged exposure to temperatures above 40°C may cause deformation.
